• This area of the site design features the estate homes, which are the largest housing type in this scenario (3,000 ft2 on 0.67 acres).
• A system of trails and sidewalks provides connectivity within this scenario and offers recreational opportunities for residents.
• Many of the mature trees were preserved during the development of the scenario.
• In addition to providing recreational opportunities for residents and the public, the protection of open space can also supply necessary habitat for wildlife and improve the overall health of the ecosystem of an area.
• A swale stormwater drainage system is illustrated along both sides of the narrow road, as compared to the curb and gutter systems in the conventional and new urbanist scenarios.
