Data are available in multiple projections, but only in GeoTIFF format. It should be noted that GeoTIFF format is not supported in many common geographic information system (GIS) tools.
The ftp distribution is on a state-by-state basis except for areas in the Pacific Islands and Caribbean, which are distributed on a county or territory basis.
