Developed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agroforestry Center. The NOAA Coastal Services Center expanded the tool to include coastal objects.
Workshops
A hands-on introduction to CanVis for coastal managers includes a basic introduction to visualization concepts and options, hands-on exercises, and a discussion of potential applications.

Workshops are provided at the NOAA Coastal Services Center (Charleston, SC), virtually (through WebEx), and as a component of the Coastal Community Planning and Development Course.

Workshop Schedule
To attend a workshop, contact the Center at least two weeks in advance, because space is limited. You will need to install the software on your computer prior to the workshop.
If scheduled times do not work for you, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate you. We can also customize the workshop to meet the needs and interests of your group.
